Wild Chervil

Following on from my painting Cow Parsley I wanted to do a series of studies along similar lines but becoming more and more abstract.  The first painting here is very similar to the first version but perhaps a little more subdued.

The second is more vibrant and naive looking but still recognisably a landscape showing houses and the ocean. This one is probably my favourite of the three.

The third painting is less recognisable although the cow parsley / wild chervil is still visible.  This one has a bit of a darker feel to my mind.
